Ciência, Informação e Desenvolvimento: desafios e perspectivas para Moçambique
Synopsis
This article analyzes the current context of Mozambique - marked by a development process amid challenges, deprivations and social vulnerabilities – based in the fundaments of Information and Communication Science, i.e, from Data, on the one hand, and the Sign, on the other, as nuclear elements in these fields of knowledge. Based on authors such as Foucault (2012), Morin (1966), Mudimbe (2013), Mazula (1995) among others, shows that in the Mozambican context and beyond, the analysis of reality must be done from the perspective of Complexity (Morin, 1966). In this sense, development refers to the need for autonomy, not only economic, but also symbolic and conceptual.
